Thank you for your thoughtful and generous gift to the Simms/Mann – UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology in honor of Dr. Anne Coscarelli. Your gift will be directed to an endowment fund in Dr. Coscarelli’s name.

As its founding director, Dr. Coscarelli led the Simms/Mann Center for decades, improving the lives of countless cancer patients and their families.

The impact of her work is immeasurable, and while we miss her daily presence, the Center’s mission to serve the psychosocial needs of individuals and their loved ones facing the challenges of cancer still remains. Dr. Kauser Ahmed, who worked alongside Dr. Coscarelli for 15 years, serving as the Associate Director and the Training Director for the Center, officially assumed the role of Director on July 1, 2018. Dr. Ahmed is supremely qualified to lead this next chapter in the Center’s history and I am delighted to continue working with her.

Your gift today represents not only a lasting tribute to Dr. Coscarelli’s tremendous legacy, but a testament to the vital work of the Simms/Mann Center, helping to sustain our efforts to provide the majority of our cancer support services free of charge to those who need them.
