The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology provides both investigative and standard of care therapy for patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases. Clinical investigation program areas include (but are not limited to) leukemia and bone marrow transplantation, AIDS, solid tumor cancer, and Phase I and II trials of new chemotherapies and biologic response modifiers in malignancy and hematologic disorders. Diagnostic and therapeutic consultations are also available.
The program offers site-specific clinics as well as general hematology and medical oncology clinics. Site-specific clinics are offered at the Oncology Center in the following areas:
- Advanced malignancies (investigative therapies)
- Breast cancer
- Bone marrow/stem cell transplantation
- Gastrointestinal oncology
- Genitourinary oncology
- Head and neck cancers
- Leukemia
- Lymphomas
- Melanoma
- Multiple myeloma
