The Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation's 17th annual signature fundraiser, Taste for a Cure, was held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. On this special evening, Jennifer Salke, President of NBC Entertainment, received the 2012 Gil Nickel Humanitarian Award. Premier Cabernet wines from prestigious family-owned Napa Valley wineries and signature dishes from distinguished chefs, including prominent chef/owner Cindy Pawlcyn of Napa Valley's Mustards Grill, Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen and Brassica Restaurants, were among the evening's highlights. Entertainment for the night was provided with performances by Lea Michele and Darren Criss from Glee.

Over the past 17 years, the annual fundraiser has raised more than $8 million for highest priority cancer research at UCLA.
