Beverly Wilshire Hotel
Chef Vittorio Lucariello is originally from Napoli, a vibrant city of Southern Italy. After completing Hotel School in Napoli, Vittorio worked for several years in Michelin star restaurants in Italy and Europe. He then had an opportunity to move to Los Angeles in 1994 where he worked in restaurants such as Dolce Enoteca, Primi and Il Cielo.
Vittorio moved to Hong Kong in 2003 where he encountered a wonderful and exciting cosmopolitan city, rich in culture and well respected for food and service. Vittorio was exposed for a few years to Chinese, Cantonese, Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine where he was part of the opening team of the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong, the tallest hotel in the world. While working at the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong, the hotel’s restaurant Tosca received Michelin rating and was voted among the top 5 restaurants in Asia.
In September 2013 Vittorio joined the Beverly Wilshire as the Executive Sous Chef.
When not at work, Vittorio loves to spend some time with his family & friends, visiting local farmers market and yoga.
