  1. Q: How do I become a member of JCCC?

    A: JCCC membership is potentially available to all UCLA faculty. Members must have a predominant and productive interest in cancer and/or related disciplines, the ability and willingness to contribute to the cancer center and an academic title in the Regular, In-Residence, Adjunct or Clinical Instructor series at UCLA. Exceptions to this policy are considered on a case by case basis. Application for membership in JCCC is voluntary and also connotes agreement by the applicant with JCCC's membership obligations and basic objectives. Click here for application information.
  2. Q: What areas of research are covered by JCCC?

    A: JCCC operates eight program areas organized to foster interdisciplinary research across academic units. The program areas are organized into three basic categories: Basic Research, Clinical/Translational Research and Cancer Prevention and Control and Research.
  3. Q: Where can I find funding opportunities for my research?

    A: A number of funding opportunities are available for JCCC researchers, including impact grants, collaboration grants, individual seed grants and information from UCLA's Office of Contract & Grant Administration (OCGA). Information about external organizations such as the National Cancer Institute (NCI) is available here.
  4. Q: How do I use JCCC's Shared Resources?

    A: A variety of shared resources ranging from small animal imaging to molecular screening are available to aid JCCC researchers in their efforts to find more effective ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
