Edward Garon, M.D.
Assistant Professor
Director, Thoracic Oncology Program
Dr. Edward Garon's research focuses on developing novel therapies for cancers that have traditionally been difficult to treat. His focus is cancers of the chest (most frequently lung cancer) and the pancreatobiliary system (most frequently pancreatic cancer). In his laboratory work, he focuses on determining molecular subtypes of these common cancers. He then evaluates the effects of novel therapeutics against these different subtypes.
Light lunch served.
