Dr. Donald Morisky's research focuses on the psychological and behavioral determinants of cardiovascular, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and diabetes risk factors as well as medication-taking behavior for chronic diseases. Currently, Morisky and his colleagues are implementing and evaluating the effects of structural interventions at the individual and environmental level and their effects on health promotion and disease prevention.
