Scientific Interest(s):

Dr. Simin Liu's interests include the assessment of dietary and genetic variants of complex disorders, with an emphasis on their interactions; the application of epidemiologic principles and statistical methods to quantitatively synthesize the literature and systematically evaluate the evidence concerning dietary and genetic variants of complex trait; small-scale clinical trials to evaluate the efficacy of dietary supplements, pharmaceutical products and traditional therapeutics on health-related outcomes; and study design and evaluation.
