Research in Dr. Louis Bouchard's laboratory focuses on the development of target-specific drug delivery systems and diagnostic molecular imaging probes. Other areas of research include fluid mechanics, the development of novel chemical reaction engineering microtechnology, tissue engineering, metabolic imaging, optical techniques for nanoscale magnetic sensing and the application of hyperpolarization methods for sensitivity-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
