JCCC “Leaders in the Field” Seminar Series Featuring Dr. Harinder Singh
Viewing the Immune System through the Lens of Gene Regulatory Networks
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Harinder Singh, Ph.D.
Staff Scientist, Department of Discovery Immunology
Dr. Singh's lab is assembling and analyzing gene regulatory networks that orchestrate the development of various cell types of the innate and adaptive immune system including B-and T lymphocytes, macrophages, neutrophils dendritic and mast cells. These networks are comprised of inter-connected transcription factors, signaling molecules and miRNAs that regulate cell fate choice and developmental transitions. They are currently utilizing a combination of genetic, molecular and mathematical modeling approaches to further analyze such gene regulatory networks.
Sponsored by the JCCC Gene Regulation Program Area and the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, & Molecular Genetics
