"The end of cancer begins with research" and Lifeline members are part of it.

Donors who contribute at least $1,000 a year in unrestricted funds become members of our Lifeline Connection, a group of active and dedicated individuals who have a special role at the cancer center. Annual unrestricted gifts of $1,000 or more provide support for some of the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center's (JCCC) highest priority research initiatives. We are pleased to show our appreciation to Lifeline Connection members in the following ways:

• Invitations to the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation (JCCF) Board of Directors meetings and other Cancer Center special events.
• E-mail announcements of research advances and other news from the JCCC.
• JCCC lab visits – meet researchers and see how your support translates to discoveries.
• Public recognition of your gift in the Lifeline Connection Honor Roll.
• Personal satisfaction in partnering with renowned researchers to better understand, treat and defeat cancer.

Seed grants are outstanding examples of how vital needs are funded through unrestricted gifts from Lifeline Connection members. Seed grants are like venture capital for scientists. They provide start-up funds for the JCCC's best and brightest researchers. Tomorrow's medical breakthroughs often result from these innovative beginnings.
