The Avon Cares for Life Program at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center provides navigation and support services to breast cancer patients along the continuum of care from diagnosis to survivorship. Through the program, patients are also given the opportunity to participate in clinical trials and to receive quality survivorship care in the Avon Cares for Life Post-Treatment clinic. This synergistic effort by both the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Olive View Medical Center provides linguistically and ethnically appropriate best practice models in patient navigation, support services, survivorship and clinical research.
