Celeste Mills is the first cancer patient in the country to try the drug treatment Kadcyla. After fighting metastatic breast cancer for 14 years, Mills completed a clinical trial at UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. UPDATE 9/9/2013: Celeste Milles suffered a recurrence of her cancer and, despite treatment, she passed away on August 26, 2013. Through her participation in a clinical trial at UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, Celeste helped move cancer research greatly forward. We thank her.
