At UCLA, patients with colorectal cancer are treated through the Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncology Program.
The GI Program provides comprehensive cancer care to patients with a wide variety of malignant conditions of the gastrointestinal tract. It offers multi-specialty coordination with experts in the fields of surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, nursing and social work. Patients who come to UCLA benefit from the most advanced forms of therapy available and have access to the latest protocols through the clinical research unit.
Make a Referral
Our partnership with health professionals in the community is key to our success at UCLA Health System. It is our goal to assist you with referring a patient to UCLA and getting access to our continuing medical education program.
Registered nurses and referral coordinators are available to assist referring physicians and case managers access services at UCLA Health System through the toll-free UCLA Physician Referral Service phone line (1-800-UCLA-MD1). Or, send an email to access@mednet.ucla.edu and one of our referral nurses will respond.
