The Division of Hematology/Oncology
At UCLA, comprehensive care for breast cancer is provided through Division of Hematology/Oncology. Patients receive the most advanced forms of therapy available and have access to a variety of supportive services. UCLA has been recognized for its exemplary interdisciplinary programs in cancer research, patient care, professional education and community outreach in cancer preventions.
Teams of specialists work together to help breast cancer patients and their families. Our multidisciplinary approach offers support with both immediate and long-term effects of this disease.
Revlon/UCLA Breast Center
Established in 1992, the mission of the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center is to bring the most comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients and to develop future medicine to end the suffering of women with breast cancer. Through its vision and dedication, the Center leads the field of total breast care, and is committed to serving patients from all corners of the world.
The Revlon/UCLA Breast Center offers four clinical programs to serve women:
- Diagnostic Clinic
- Multidisciplinary Program
- Followup Program
- High-Risk Program
Each clinical program is designed to meet the needs of women with different problems, and includes a team of experts whose goal is to provide the most comprehensive and compassionate care possible. The Center also offers a weekly surgical education class to empower women.
Community Services
In addition to the Division of Hematology/Oncology and the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center, UCLA has opened several community practices to allow easier access to comprehensive cancer care services and investigative clinical trials.
