Dr. David Heber's research is focused on the role of nutrition, botanical dietary supplements and the prevention and treatment of obesity in common forms of cancer, including breast and prostate cancer.
Heber and his colleagues are currently studying a botanical dietary supplement for its application to prostate cancer prevention, green tea supplementation and the treatment of obesity to prevent recurrence of breast cancer and the impact of phytochemicals from fruits, vegetables, and green tea on the multistep process of carcinogenesis in models relevant to common forms of cancer.
