Scientific Interest(s):

Dr. Thomas Kaleita's research interests involve defining neurobehavioral sequelae and risk factors for these sequelae from malignant diseases and their treatments in pediatric and adult cancer patients.

Most of Dr. Kaleita's studies have built upon nonrandomized therapeutic trials for infants (CCG-107, CCG-1935) and randomized trials for older children (CCG-105, CCG-1922, CCG-1952) with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) performed by the Children's Cancer Group (CCG) and Children's Oncology Group (COG).
