Scientific Interest(s):

Ca(2+) signaling pathways are universally present and regulate processes ranging from cell differentiation to cell death or proliferation. Dr. Yousang Gwack's long-term research goal is to understand the physiological role of the calcium release-activated calcium (CRAC) channels at an organism level.
