Scientific Interest(s):

Dr. Malaika Amneus’ primary research interest lies in improving the quality of care for patients being treated for cervical cancer. Her current projects include:
  • analysis of the impact of and reasons for prolonged treatment duration in primary chemoradiation for cervical cancer
  • development of a cervical cancer navigation program at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, with the ultimate goal of improving quality of care and survival outcomes
  • assessment of needs and educational program development for cervical cancer patients, survivors, and their health care providers.
