Dr. Yvonne Chen's research focuses on applying molecular and synthetic biology techniques to rewire and construct novel biological circuits for applications in health and medicine, particularly in cell-based immunotherapy. Current projects include the engineering of next-generation chimeric antigen receptors and rewiring cytokine signaling pathways for adoptive T-cell therapy against cancer.
