Immunology Forum Seminar Series Featuring Dr. Alexander Rudensky
Molecular Mechanisms of Differentiation and Function of Regulatory T Cells
1/30/2013
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Free
NRB Auditorium
Los Angeles, California 90095
Presented by:
Alexander Rudensky, Ph.D.
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
Howard Hughes Medical Institute
Dr. Rudensky's research is focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms governing the differentiation and function of CD4 T lymphocytes and their role in immunity and tolerance. Major areas of interest for his lab include: the molecular and cellular mechanisms governing the differentiation and function of regulatory T cells, and the roles these cells play in control of autoimmunity, tumor immunity and immunity to infections, and in the maintenance of immune homeostasis at environmental interfaces.
Light refreshments served
Sponsored by the JCCC Tumor Immunology Program Area, Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and the UCLA AIDS Institute
