Collaboration is one of the strengths of UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (JCCC). Synergetic partnerships connect people not just within UCLA, but from UCLA to beyond. Every area of our cancer care and research extends outwards to our community partners.
Division of Cancer Prevention and Control Research (DCPCR) Outreach and Education
The DCPCR is the division of JCCC that researches community- and population-based cancer control research. DCPCR offers educational and community-building opportunities with community partners that focus on underserved low-income and ethnic minority communities.
TORI Community Partners
UCLA partners with research institutions, health care providers and companies across the United States in order to offer clinical trials and research studies to patients and volunteers beyond Los Angeles. These TORI (Translational Oncology Research International) investigations offer the same high-quality UCLA standards as campus-based studies.
Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation at UCLA
The Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation at UCLA partners with individuals, organizations, institutions and companies that organize or sponsor fundraising events benefiting cancer research. Community partners also may commit to a lifetime of giving.
UCLA-LIVESTRONG™ Survivorship Center of Excellence
UCLA-LIVESTRONG™ partners with excellent health care providers to spread best practices of survivorship care in the Los Angeles community. These community partners include: Health Care Partners Medical Group, Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Olive View-UCLA Medical Center.
