10833 Le Conte Ave.
Los Angeles, California 90095
Alexei Aravin, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor, Division of Biology
California Institute of Technology
Dr. Aravin's lab uses fruit-fly (Drosophila) and mouse models to understand biogenesis of small RNAs and their roles in regulation of gene expression and epigenetic states of the cell. They are also interested in biogenesis and function of small non-coding RNAs, and studying transposable elements and their role in the cell.
Light lunch served.
