JCCC SeminarDr. Steve Buratowski

Presented by:
Steve Buratowski, Ph.D.
Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology
Harvard Medical School

Dr. Steve Buratowski's research focuses on the mechanism of gene expression in eukaryotes. Hislab works on RNA polymerase II transcription initiation and the subsequent processing of the mRNA. Current projects include linkage of transcription and mRNA processing via modification of the RNA polymerase II C-terminal domain, and the interplay between the transcription machinery and chromatin.
